Hollandaise Sauce

Posted by ChroniclesCapersCanards on 2:46 PM

On October 16th, 2012, I cooked the most amazing sauce I have ever had. It was called a hollandaise sauce. It is made of 2 full sticks of butter, salt and egg yolks. The sauce was boiled in a pot and mixed to make an amazing flavor. Once the sauce was made and warm, hot dog buns were grilled and then grazed with some oil and hollandaise sauce. The whole meal was easy to make and when I had the first bite, I couldn’t stop. And now for Thanksgiving, I am going to make my family hollandaise and bread to share my great food experience with them too.

David...
Hollandaise is not typically made to be served with grilled hot dog buns! It is more likely to be used as a sauce for Eggs Benedict, or perhaps a poached fish or even steamed veggies.
Q: Did we actually "boil" the sauce?
